Kulture Kast 29 -- Eight In The Ticker

We begin the show on a high note, what with having to start over on the recording twice. This week, we're talking about Susan Z's stint doing the intro for 7th Son (trivial knowledge and Google-Fu FTW), plans for a Podcaster Smackdown, Nathan Fillion and Vaseline and/or Crisco, Balticon, retail during the holidays, the Z axiom of douchebaggery, the Cohen Brothers movies, No Country For Old Men, the sacred ground that was the X-Files, why does your hair have to be that color? and some other deep-seated questions...

What about all the new listeners from your appearance on the AWESOME new podio-drama, "Space Casey"? Huh? Huh?

I concur with Christiana. Wait, I was already a listener. So, um.... yeah. Count me in among the 6 of your listeners. Or maybe I make 7.

In other thoughts, I completely agree with Biscuit's tear on buying children off. I can only hope that I won't be one of those parents. Or if I am, I have good friends to set me straight.

When we were recording the latest KK, I hadn't caught the "Space Casey" episode in which we guest-starred (stupid iTunes). We will be sure to pimp it extra hard on our Boxing Day show!

And Space Casey IS an awesome podio-drama, to be sure.

I have no fear there Shannon, the difference here is you're aware of the situation, whereas many people think this is "good" parenting

Reasons Why Susan Z Is My Hero:

1) The Hath a Darkness love and pimpage, obviously.

2) She is, in fact, sneakier than I.

3) She could curl wee Scott Sigler like a case of wine.

4) It takes a badass to recognize one.

Oh, and Biscuit ain't so bad, either. I expect to main event the Kulture Kast Podcaster Smackdown.

I'm "not so bad"?

I get no love, I swear.

I would love to see you take on Selznick, he's a scrapper.

I gotta tell ya, that whole Nathan Crisco/Vaseline thing threw me for a loop, too. That's a difficult dilemma. Part of me thinks the crisco would be easier to wash out, but in reality, they're both oil based and therefore both would cause staining.

You have Nathan Fillion covered in Crisco/Vaseline standing in front of you and you're worried about staining?!??
